Residing in Nairobi, Kenya, since 2004, this artist’s journey began with a degree in fine art from the Sudan University for Science and Technology in 1997.

Since 1998, contributions have been made to the Nafage Art Workshop at the Abd elKarim Mirghani Cultural Center (AKMCC) in Sudan. Additionally, efforts to promote manual work among displaced and underprivileged children date back to 2000, with collaborations with the Children’s Culture of AKMCC organization.
Afrikan Art’s influence extends globally, with participation in international forest workshops in Nairobi in 2006 and 2008. Contributions have been made to prestigious exhibitions such as “President of Artist over the Frontiers” in Lyon, France, in 2009, and the ARS 11 Exhibition in Kouvola, Finland, in 2011. Notably, there was also a significant contribution to the Spherique Indian Ocean Art project in Zanzibar in 2011.
